This wine results from: 35% Merlot 10% Frank Cabernet 55% Sauvignon Cabernet


Each part of the vineyard is vinified separately and only after the end of the wine making, the assembly is carried out in order to obtain a wine of best quality.


At tasting, BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR CASTLE the COURTIADE 2003 presents a red dress intense ruby.


its nose points out the ripe fruits, mixes cherry, blackcurrant and of currant. In mouth, its attack is frank without being aggressive; the tannins are molten and pleasant.


The ripe fruits are present, in particular the blackcurrant and the cherry. The final is rather long and the wine balanced well between acidity and roundness.

This wine is the perfect reflection of the heat wave which prevails this year and which made it possible the grapes to reach a richness worthy of the great years.


This wine can be tasted now but will reach its full maturity in 2007 and will be able to be preserved for 5 years more without losing its qualities.


Because of its richness, it could be necessary to elutriate it before the service, to even air it a few moments during its last years.


In order to better appreciate its flavours, it is recommended to taste this wine between 17 and 18°C.

For your greater pleasure, you will be able to appreciate all his plenitude with a red meat, a poultry, a cheese not too generous. But also with a cod dish, a pot with fire, or a mushroom omelette.
